1. Your thoughts always create your reality
Your thoughts exert the most powerful forces. With your thoughts, you can move mountains and be the conductor of your life. Your strongest unconscious thoughts and feelings—about a wish you have, a plan you want to implement, a dream you want to realise—determine which of these will actually come true in your life.
If your feelings toward a positive thought are in any way negative, if you have even the slightest doubt, then you won't attract the positive into your life—no matter how much you want it. Then you won't be able to implement a plan you have or realise a dream you dream.
Your body and mind know what you unconsciously think, what you unconsciously believe. And that is your reality. As long as you (unconsciously) have negative beliefs about your future, you will only continue to feed and repeat these negative beliefs from your past. Through sentences that someone once clearly told you, like: "You can't do that!" "You have no talent for that." "How stupid can you be not to be able to do that?" "You'll never amount to anything." "You won't find a girlfriend the way you walk around and act."
Everything we desire in life is determined by statements about ourselves that are buried so deep in our hearts. Statements that have transformed into stubborn beliefs and become embedded in us.
The key questions of your life are:
There are primarily two questions in life that open your door to consciousness. They are:
1. What do I really want to be?
2. And: How do I really want to be?
Whatever you imagine, and whatever you are now, every professional activity will shape you in the long term. For example, teachers think and act differently from politicians, pilots, engineers, lawyers, etc. You must therefore ask yourself: What kind of person will my profession make me into over the years? What kind of personality will I develop into? Am I happy with this development?
Therefore, it is useful to look at people who have been in this profession for a decade or two. Look at them closely and ask yourself: Do I really want to become like that? The decision about the role we want to play in our lives has a decisive influence on our future and the course of our lives.
2. Having and Being
A person who wants to have above all else is trapped in the material world and thus reveals their unconscious mind. To remind you again, awareness means mindfulness of the present, of one's being, of what one does and why, mindful in one's interactions with oneself and others, how one acts, and in observing one's fellow human beings, nature, and life in general. Consciousness and awareness can only be achieved by those who listen to themselves, recognise themselves, and understand which thoughts and feelings are at work within them.
The focus on material things has led to an egomania in the Western world, a desire to have everything without making an effort to work on oneself and become someone. The focus on purely material goods inevitably leads to an inner emptiness; the desire becomes endless to fill this never-ending inner emptiness with even more material things. But instead of diminishing, this inner emptiness grows ever larger. People develop addictive behaviours of various kinds (compulsive shopping, binge eating, alcoholism, drug use, etc.) to escape this inner emptiness and lack of meaning in life despite materialistic goods. People become dependent on money, which creates a greed for more, and greed separates us from life and our humanity.
The ancient yogis in India recognised this thousands of years ago and called this greed Lobha in Sanskrit. In Buddhist philosophy, Lobha is seen as the cause of human suffering because it encourages actions that lead to negative consequences and inner emptiness.
The belief that money makes us happy is a fallacy. Materialism has robbed us of our humanity and empathy and made us forget what a gift a life lived with gratitude is.
Consciously observing life is not about HAVING but about BEING.
Material possessions do not guarantee that you will be a happy person.
As soon as you focus on your BEING, you work on transforming yourself into the personality you want to be. Your charisma, your energy, your joy – all of this will be noticed by the people around you. And the great thing about it is that you automatically attract what you ARE.
The only thing you truly own is your lifetime. Time is the only thing that never comes back, because life moves on with every second.
Therefore, the crucial question in life is what exactly you want to spend your time on – time for family and friends, developing your own talents and skills, exploring the world, being a role model, developing a good character, being mindful of the environment, and creating peace in your own environment. What matters is doing what you truly love. Don't live for titles, likes, and recognition; live to develop a special character – to be a special person. Choose to be instead of wanting to have too much.
Your character is crucial because it determines your path in life. Often, what we do isn't important to be successful, but rather how we do it. It's not what you say, but how you say it that matters. At the end of your life, people often can't remember everything you said or did, but they will always remember how they felt in your presence.
This is your being.
Here's the question again:
How do you want to be? Helpful, kind, empathetic, grateful...
Choose it and write it down. But choose wisely, because your answers determine your future! And remember:
If you ARE everything, one day you will HAVE everything.
It's about achieving awareness in order to complete the transformation into the person you want to become and want to be. Awareness is the first step.
The transformation that follows when you know what role you want to fulfil in life and what character you want to be takes place actively through yourself. You yourself create the person you want to be.
Your personal experiences are the most important thing. If you observe and reflect on them with awareness, you will know what they mean to you and how you deal with them now and in the future.
Answer honestly to the question:
Who do I really want to be?
And
How do I really want to be?
Then you immediately begin to develop in the desired direction. And if one day you no longer want to be something, ask yourself the questions again, answer them, and take a new direction.
Everything will never go the way you want and imagine. You will have setbacks. There will be difficult times.
You will have experiences that you judge as bad or negative. Remember:
Every situation in our lives is a gift. Every experience is an opportunity, a golden opportunity to improve, to be better. Recognise every situation in life for what it is, use your knowledge to become better, and be grateful for this opportunity.
Always ask yourself:
How do I deal with this situation constructively and positively to make the most of it for myself and my future? Life is a constant training process.
What does this mean for you in practical terms? When everyone gives up, you keep going undeterred:
When everyone complains, you stay positive and confident.
When everyone sees the downside, you recognise the opportunities.
When everyone looks for excuses, you take responsibility. When everyone takes the easy way out, you take the necessary extra step.
A person who recreates their life, a conscious person, never sees themselves as a victim! They see themselves as the master of the situation they will deal with, which they will overcome, no matter what it looks like.
As soon as you have a clear picture of who and how you truly want to be, you pursue your goals, dreams, and visions throughout your life.
What does that mean?
- You live more and more as you imagine.
- You know the meaning of your life and see it repeatedly confirmed through your actions.
- You recognise that everything in your everyday life is a training opportunity that offers you growth opportunities.
- You recognise the good and opportunities in everything.
- Your life gets better every day.
- Doubts and worries can no longer spread within you.
- You are no longer afraid of anything or anyone.
- You feel more and more joy in life and contentment.
- You experience more and more happy moments.
- You let life happen and trust that you can master it.
- You accept what you cannot change and make the best of it.
Be ready to develop into your true greatness.
The poem Our deepest fear which was written by the American writer and spiritual leader Marianne Williamson, became very famous because Nelson Mandela quoted it in his first speech as the first South African black president in history.
Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves: Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
But who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us: it's in everyone.
As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear. Our presence automatically liberates others
